The Ocean Decade Conference, as part of the Ocean Decade Week, will be held on April 8 – 12, 2024, in Barcelona, Spain. The State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) at City University of Hong Kong, together with Baylor University, Xiamen University, and Sydney Institute of Marine Science, will host one of the Satellite Events “International Workshop on Co-design of the Global Estuaries Monitoring (GEM) Programme”. We will update the progress of the GEM Programme, co-design the collaborative projects for the next phase of GEM, and explore the practical solutions to combat chemical pollution of the world’s estuaries through this opportunity.
