GEM Team attended the 2025 Xiamen Symposium on Marine Environmental Sciences

From January 14th to 17th, the 7th Xiamen Symposium on Marine Environmental Sciences (XMAS 2025), initiated by the State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science at Xiamen University and jointly organized by the Department of Earth Sciences of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, took place in Xiamen, China. The symposium focused on the theme "Transformative Science and Technology for a Sustainable Ocean", delving into discussions with scholars from around the world to inspire new ideas for sustainable development.

The State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution (SKLMP) at the City University of Hong Kong actively participated in the conference, convening two scientific sessions: "Emerging Contaminants in the Marine Environment and Polar Region: Processes, Effects, and Health" and "Ecological and Socio-Economic Benefits of Marine Protected Areas."
