GEM Team Members Attended the 12th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry in Wuhan, China

The 12th National Conference on Environmental Chemistry (12th NCEC), hosted by the Environmental Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), was grandly held in Wuhan, China from 17 to 21 November, 2023. Three team members from the Global Estuaries Monitoring (GEM) Programme attended the conference and gave oral presentations.

Dr. Chong Chen, the postdoc from the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution, City University of Hong Kong, gave an oral presentation on Occurrence and Monitoring Programme of Pharmaceutical Contamination in Global Estuaries.

Dr. Racliffe Weng Seng Lai, the research assistant professor from Department of Ocean Science and Technology, the University of Macau, gave an invited presentation on the Toxicity of Nano Zinc Oxide to Marine Mussels under the Influence of Different Temperatures and Salinities.

Mr. Shaopeng Xu, the PhD student of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Pollution, City University of Hong Kong, gave an oral presentation on Environmental Behavior and Pollution Status of Tire Additives in Surface Water.
