The UESCO announces the Ocean Decade's first endorsed Decade Actions

As part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) initiative, the Global Estuaries Monitoring (GEM) Programme was officially endorsed as a Decade Action.

On World Oceans Day, 8th June 2021, the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO announced a list of 66 Actions officially endorsed as a part of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030).
